Mujeres con Sazón attend the 2025 NPRDP Annual Gala

Mujeres con Sazón were present at the Annual Gala to benefit the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Scholarship Fund.

This activity raises funds to award scholarships to outstanding students in the Puerto Rican community in New York so they can continue their studies.

Also present were this year's honorees, marshals, and godfathers and godmothers who marched in the Puerto Rican Parade on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Among them were musical director Angel "Cuco Peña," Los Pleneros de la Cresta, and Hermes Croatto.

Our foundation was there and shared the mission and plans of Mujeres con Sazón with the attendees. Mujeres con Sazón's goals are varied, but among its priorities are documenting and preserving recipes that are in danger of being lost; collaborating in education by offering workshops and cooking classes; and creating a network of chefs, farmers, all those involved in the distribution chain, and food lovers in Puerto Rico and throughout the Extended Homeland to preserve Puerto Rican cuisine.
